Description: In an era of rapid industrial and urban development in Japan, KawaseHasui was famous for prints of serene landscapes and waterways. Hisinfluential images emphasized the beauty of Japan's rural countryside, theillumination of land and water by sun- and moonlight, and the changingseasons. Often on the road in search of inspiration, Hasui brought hiswatercolor sketches to the studio of publisher Watanabe Shozaburo, where theywere transformed into woodblock prints. One of the greatest artists of theshin hanga movement, Hasui produced over 600 woodblock prints duringhis 40-year career. Twelve of his treasured prints are reproduced in thiscalendar.

Delivery Times
Orders placed before 4pm, Monday to Friday, are usually packed-up and sent within 24 hours (for stocked items). Sometimes we place orders with 3rd party suppliers, where fulfilment may take slightly longer. We have one delivery option, which is a 48 hour tracked service with Royal Mail.
